Elite Piano Studio was established in November of 2000, with the goal of helping all students find their passion for music.

Ms. Oksana Hahn gently helps to draw out the beauty of each student’s inner world by carefully developing their innate abilities and talents.

Thus, each student embarks with her on an exciting journey from acquiring a strong foundation of the very basics of musical literacy to exploring the profound connections between imagination and musicality and technical fluency which makes possible ever greater growth as a person and musician.

 

Her skilled approach to the teaching of technique results in an extensive understanding on the student’s part of touch, art of pedaling techniques, and ease of playing.  This can produce little virtuosos who make truly beautiful music.

To develop musical imagination and expressiveness, Ms. Hahn employs games and other creative methods to teach basics and at the same time to develop true enjoyment in making music.  The concept of the mind body connection is introduced and nurtured.

Ms. Hahn’s students are encouraged to visit live concerts and performances in the city as a group (soloists, symphony orchestra, vocal, chamber, and modern music) as part of their emotional, cultural, and intellectual growth and development.

 

Each lesson is a building block on the road to very impressive results.  Ms. Hahn has helped many students overcome various challenges and become self-motivated and confident musicians.  Her 26 years of teaching has resulted in students winning competitions and enjoying success in RCM examinations; many continue with their musical studies to ever more fulfilling achievements, some even choosing music as a career.
